VAULT

Vault is an anomaly within Numeria: a storehouse of technological weapons outside of the Technic League's control, perched tauntingly just outside the city of Starfall. Little is known of Vault's proprietor, Shiv, save that he built Vault from the ground up using prefabricator devices likely harvested from a Numerian ruin.

Shiv has been dealing in traditional black powder firearms and advanced technological weapons going on seven years now. He skirts around the Technic League's strangle hold by offering them a steep cut of his profits and first look at any tech he puts up for sale. But rumors suggest that there is more going on than meets the eye. Shiv rarely moves advanced tech, as it is prohibitively expensive, and typically trafficks in black powder weapons—including advanced firearms typically not seen outside of Alkenstar, thousands of miles away in the Mana Wastes.

Shiv's identity—let alone his species—is unknown. Even his gender is assumed by most of his clients, though Shiv has never corrected any assumption, right or wrong.
